About us

Hello! I am Stavros Giouros, son of Antonios Giouros. I was born in 1964 in Naousa, Imathia, where I live and run my business. I graduated from the 2nd General Lyceum of Naousa (Practical Lyceum) in 1982. In 1983 I attended accounting courses at a Centre for Liberal Studies where I had my first contact with the accountant’s profession on a hands-on basis.

In 1984 I was admitted to the Business Administration Department of the School of Higher Industrial Studies of Thessaloniki from which I graduated in 1987.

Since I was a young child, specifically from the fourth grade until I graduated from university, I entered the labour market, working mainly during the summer months when school was closed.

During these months I worked as a “koulouri”(ring shaped bread) street-seller, a worker in factories of construction of wooden fruit lugs, in the logistics department of fruit-business and as a bookkeeper in an agricultural cooperative.

After my graduation from the Business Administration Department of the School of Higher Industrial Studies of Thessaloniki, specifically in November 1987, I worked for the first time as an Assistant Accountant in the accounting office of Mr Grigorios Karagiannopoulos until November 1998, when I fulfilled my Military Service as a Sergeant until June 1990.

Then, I continued my work in the aforementioned accounting office and on 1.1.1992 we established Gr. Karagiannopoulos- St. Giouros General Partnership, which was dissolved in 2006, due to the retirement of Gr. Karagiannopoulos.

The experience and knowledge I had gained during these 19 years of working as an accountant, led me to the decision to run my own business, which I maintain to this day.

I have been a member of the Economic Chamber since 1992, and I am holder of a Class A Accountant/Tax Consultant’s Licence (registry number 21435).

I have attended more than 50 seminars on accounting (Code for Books and Records, Transaction’s Tax Reporting Code, Greek Accounting Standards, IAS), tax issues, (income), VAT, costing, budgeting, use of business management applications (ERP) and computerization.

Objective

At a time of tremendous obligations for each and every professional or individual, and within an intensely changing tax environment, people have a feeling of anxiety, uncertainty and hesitation.

For this reason, an accounting office must aim to the relief of its clients from all these worries and provide them with comprehensive support as well as specialized knowledge.

My office’s mission is to offer to current and future clients, complete “turnkey” services, without having to deal with additional bureaucratic procedures but for the absolutely necessary ones.

Also, part of this mission is providing consultancy to all our clients, in order for them to operate in a framework of utmost security and growth, always keeping them informed about all the new opportunities arising, so as to assist their further progress.
